Stronger Together:
Let’s Conquer What’s Holding You Back
A Space to Feel Less Alone
About Crested Butte Therapy
I’m glad you’re here.
At Crested Butte Therapy, I work with people who are tired of holding it all together, who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to change — even though they’ve tried.
Maybe you look like you’re functioning on the outside, but inside you feel anxious, exhausted, irritable, or numb. Maybe relationships, your emotions, or food and body image take up far more mental space than you want them to. Or maybe you’re simply at a point in life where what used to work… doesn’t anymore.
Therapy with me is a place to slow down, breathe, and finally talk about what’s really going on.
How I Work
I believe most of us learned ways to cope that made sense at the time — and at some point, those strategies stopped helping. In therapy, we get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface and work gently, at your pace, to create more ease, clarity, and self-trust.
I don’t believe people need to be fixed.
Anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout
Feeling disconnected from yourself or others
Emotional eating or a complicated relationship with food
Life transitions, identity shifts, and midlife changes
Old relational wounds that still show up in the present
In our work together, I often help clients with:
Sessions are collaborative and grounded. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal — we figure that out together.
What Therapy Can Feel Like
Many clients come in feeling tense, guarded, or unsure if therapy will really help. Over time, therapy can become a place where you feel more understood — by me, and by yourself.
Clients often describe feeling:
More calm and regulated in their bodies.
Less reactive and more compassionate toward themselves.
Clearer about their needs and boundaries.
More at peace with food, emotions, and relationships.
Change doesn’t happen through pressure or perfection. It happens through safety, honesty, and self-understanding.
Why I Became a Therapist
I became a therapist because I know how heavy it can feel to carry things alone — especially when you’re capable, responsible, and used to being the one others rely on.
I’m drawn to working with people who look like they’re doing “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly struggling on the inside. People who are thoughtful, self-aware, and tired of trying to think or push their way out of pain.
My work is shaped by a belief that healing happens in relationship — through being seen, understood, and met with compassion rather than judgment. I don’t see clients as problems to solve. I see them as humans doing their best with the tools they were given.
Therapy, for me, is about creating enough safety for honesty, curiosity, and change to unfold naturally.
